Photographs printed on aluminum and metallic paper.
I am the sole photographer. All my pictures are taken on the Big Island. I use Pictures Plus, along with local photo labs for printing. Aluminum prints are one of the most unique ways to show local photo art. They’re aviation grade aluminum panels with a bright white primer in between the metal and the print. The picture is dye infused with a heat press into the aluminum (as opposed to printed on the surface, like paper). This process, combined with proper lighting, creates the most vibrant way to view Hawaii’s beautiful landscapes. They come ready to hang, with no need for framing.
Something I do that’s different is I include a “picture write-up” with each print sold. This allows the customer to have the information of the background, story, settings, and anything specific to that picture. Metallic paper prints are of the highest quality photo paper, and are also extremely vibrant/crisp. They’re sold matted and can be framed. Seasonally, I sell calendars too.
