Red Barn is a pop-up restaurant established in 2016 by Will and April Queja. Eleven years ago, Will and April moved here from Oahu, where they met as cooks in the same kitchen in 1998. The Big Island offered an opportunity for Will to move forward in his career as a chef, at the Four Seasons Hualalai. Since putting down roots in North Hawaii, they have welcomed four children, ages 1 – 9.
In 2015, Will chose to leave the pressures and intensity of the corporate environment behind, in order to pursue a better quality of life with his growing family. Red Barn is the manifestation of their shared dream, to work together and serve delicious food featuring fresh whole ingredients.
